If Tatiana makes it any further, I'm going to hurl. I can't believe they keep putting her through. So, now that there are three groups of 12 and we vote, are they taking the top 4 each night or waiting until they all sing and picking the top 12 vote getters? This would mean that more could come from one group than another.

I like Jackie Tohn too. She reminds me of Janis Joplin. Beccka, I hope your right about Jamar's possible return. Didn't they bring someone back last season?

Ugggggghhhh. No no no no no. They got rid of Jamar! He was SO good. What the hell were they thinking. And how is it that they kept the last two cowboys and still ended up with 36. It must have been out of sequence. Wonder if that's why they let Jamar go. They had one too many people.

The two cowboys were just average singers. Jamar was an outstanding singer. Maybe the judges just don't like face piercings and tattoos. I could be wrong but I think they have eliminated everyone that has any.

Did a quick online search and not surprisingly, many have voiced upset over what happened to Jamar.
Many believe he'll return...and just like I shared earlier, some feel he's idol perfect.
video of Jamar's audition. Simon looks amused and didn't say anything negative, etc.
I think Kelly Clarkson had a bit of a rough audition, too...just wondering out loud here.

I'm finding this very tedious. One singer, a comment from a family member - oh please, what are they going to say? "Oh yes really I agree with Simon, she was terrible!". I don't think so. Then four minutes of commercials. It's all too much. Just get on with the singing already. From tonight's performances I'm thinking Danny Gokey, the Grace girl, and maybe Noop Dog. Or maybe Tatiana. Or the second guy that sang. (Braddy?) But definitely no-one else.

Oh, and I saw Jamar in the audience. Wish he was in the competition. He was told he took too many risks. Tonite someone was told they should have taken a risk. The judges should make up their flippin' minds.

I agree with your assessment lemon. Tonite was tedious with the family ppl there. The producers are just milking every commercial dollar they can.
There were only a few standouts tonite with the rest being bad to atrocious: Alexis Grace was by far the best female while Danny Gokey was the male star. Tattiana does have a good voice and I liked the Jackie Tohn person( the one who sung the Elvis song)
I hope Jamar gets back in the competition --it was a shock to me that they passed on him considering some of the scruff they let continue.

If Jamar took too many risks, then Norman Gentle is the invisible man. Yes, they do contradict themselves plenty on this show. Jamar is so much better than most of what was on tonight...obviously.
I agree with this RECAP'S bottom line, but I'm not feeling the Anoop love as much right now.
I'd replace him with Jackie Tohn.
Hot: Danny Gokey and Alexis Grace
Still good enough to move on: Anoop Desai Jackie Tohn
Wild cards: Ricky Braddy and Tatiana Del Toro

Danny has been my favorite since his first audition, I am so happy he rocked the house last night. I also like Michael Sarver and Jackie Tohn. Alexis Grace was the best female last night by far and although Anoop is good, I am not a fan.
Did you all know that Danny has been the Praise & Worship leader at his church for years along with Jamar? I found this link this morning.

Yes, he does sound a little like Joe Cocker. I think Alexis Grace will make it through for the girls although Jackie is my favorite. Just going by what I've read on the other Boards.

Tanya - wow, what an interesting bit of news. All along I thought Danny and Jamar met on the show.
Now that I read Jamar's story, makes me think more about why AI left him out.
Danny and Jamar are close friends and they both had pain in their past that they needed to overcome.
Perhaps AI considered that voters would keep them locked in no matter what, or sympathy votes,
or something else related.

well,before last nite i liked jackie as well...but her song choice was horrid. actually MOST of the singers choose bad songs.
what was with tatiana?...she was so reserved..almost stepford-like? she actually has a decent voice.
I guess ted danson is a AI fan?.....lol

I think Simon was responsible for Michael being there. Their comments do influence voting and when he said that I hope the people vote and keep you even though he wasn't that good made a difference. I wish they would just critique the song and leave those type of comments out otherwise I think it might be Anoup that is there instead.
With that being said, I'm happy with the three that made it. Especially Danny. I've been rooting for him from the beginning.
In the past the judges have picked the wild cards. I don't remember if they bring some back and have a sing off. But this means they have the power to bring Tatiana back and I hope that doesn't happen. Although she has a great voice, I can't stand the drama.
I'm hoping the bring back Jamar (danny's friend).

It's gotten to the point where I'd much rather see Tatiana in the final12 now than some others.
I'm not happy Michael is there even if he is a nice guy.
Random look-alike thoughts last night: Stevie reminded me so much of a young Joni Mitchell and I think Tatiana has a very pretty face. There's something Bernadette Peters about her...some of her mannerisms.
Who knows, but I never thought Jamar would return via wild card.
I was suggesting/hoping he'd be called in to replace someone who had to leave...like what happened last week.
I have a feeling my message in #33 wasn't seen. Here's the scoop on wild card and that's all we know for now, unless someone finds something else:

I also thought that Alexis Grace was the best female singer. It's a tossup for the third spot. Anoop, although like Becca, I'm not feeling the love there. Or Braddy, the oil driller or the first girl...Tohn. I'm not exactly sure what they mean about wild card. It has meant in the past that the judges decide on who to bring back (meaning someone not in the top 12 groups) or are they going to chose from the groups. I was hoping it's the first way because Jamar would be the one I'm sure.
