Lucky for Adam, he saved face by letting out a genuine whoop and yelling ''Get it!'' toward Allison and Danny.
Do these contestants really like each other that much? Anoop Desai told me that indeed they do on his recent visit to Idolatry...<<

Trying to be funny by comparing Glambert to "God" was insulting to me. I'm far from a prude but that just ticked me off.
I agree that he seems to always get the best lighting etc. It's like he's already won and I think
it's wrong for the judges to keep saying that he has..more or less. Loved her take on him being in the bottom three. I hope it knocked his ego down a few notches.
I will be voting my fingers off for the other three especially Allison and Danny.

The judges have it all wrong. I usually LOVE Danny. Tonight he was the worst. I don't usually like Allison. Tonight she had the best song and was excellent. Kris was good. He wasn't great, but he was difinitely good. Adam was a screaming over-the-top wannabe. When the judges watch it back, I hope they'll see how wrong they were. And how right I am.

1. Allison--this kid is amazing and I loved her hair tonight.
2. Adam--always delivers. I am getting a bit tired of the same screeching though.
3. Danny--terrible song choice, not good.
4. Kris--please go home already.

Alison was fantastic tonite. I thought the Adam/Alison duet was absolutely outstanding.
Danny was very bad but Kris was even worse--buh bye bye Kris

Rock Night got off to a very rocky start on American Idol
Tuesday when, less than two hours before the live performance show,
stage manager Debbie Williams fell from the lighted retractable
staircase when it moved too quickly. One of the large towers on the
show’s set inside CBS Television City studios also toppled over,
leaving shattered glass all over the stage.
FOX, FreemantleMedia North America and 19 Entertainment released a
joint statement, saying, “During rehearsal today a crew member had a
mishap on set and was immediately taken to the hospital as a

That was a bit of unsettling, scary news - Seacrest mentioned it at the start of the show.
My yays to nays:
Adam/Allison duet: A JOY to see them together! Just like in that ad weeks ago, MAGIC, and they're THE stars. Adam: "hope so" he said, when a judge mentioned that he made Allison look better in the duet. I heart him!
Allison: I've gotten to like her so much more over time. Loved the hug she gave to Adam.
Kris/Danny duet: I thought it was better than their separate performances.
Kris: He looked like he was going and he most likely will, although he's more talented than Danny, imo.
Danny: His family (or friends) appeared somber after his performance.

That big ball just hanging there was scary. I'm glad no one was seriously hurt.
It was definately Adam and Allisons night. I loved there duet and I enjoyed Alllison more. I thought the judges were way off base. She is definately a Janis Joplin singer and I thought she did a great job. I do wish she would've picked A Piece of My Heart which is one of my JJ favs.
I liked Danny and Kris's duet especially the harmony but they were both fish out of water last night.

I thought last night's theme was set up expressly for Adam. I think the judges were surprised that Allison held her own.
Adam and Allison's duet was incredible though. They worked well together. They should cut a CD.
I am not a hard rock fan and didn't enjoy watching last night. It felt so out of place. Kris and Danny did OK but it was obvious that they were out of their comfort zones.
I wonder how nervous everyone was. I imagine it must have been very difficult to perform with that ball hanging all lop-sided. I would have been a wreck.

I love that Slezak felt exactly the same way I did. Those judges have totally lost their credibility, if they ever had any. Allison was the best. Adam was not a rock god. Hope Kara isn't there again next season, if there is one.

Another shocker loss in the same week (for those who don't know, Dancing With the Stars lost Lil Kim)! I agree with you Jonsey, Allison will probably be another Chris Daughtry and find her career soon.
What did you all think of Paula, No Doubt, and Daughtry? I've never heard of No Doubt but that girl can rock! She sure puts on a good show.

I thought Chris Daughtry was good, he always is. I also thought Paula was good. Did you all know she is 46,born June 19, 1962. The group No Doubt I had never heard of although I had heard of Gwen Stefani. I thought they were terrible.

I so wanted to post my outrage last nite but I didn't want to take a chance of spoiling the results for our western members.
Dang but I'm ticked off!!!! Is this a singing contest or a freakin sympathy fest?
Alison outsung both Kris and Danny by a light year. It's hard to believe but Danny must still be getting sympathy votes because of his personal tragedy. I'm sorry but that doesn't fly with me. If you are looking for sympathy you'll find it in the dictionary between s*it and syphilis.
I agree Alison will have a great career and I will certainly buy her CD or CD's but she should be recognized for her talent properly. She showed she didn't have much love for Danny when she failed to give him major huggage like she did to Adam and Kris. This is when we a judges save. America --ya got that one wrong!!!!! NO SOUP FOR YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What the hell was Paula singing last nite? Although I must say I was impressed by her performance.
I love Gwen Stefani but didn't like that particular number.
Chris D was good---glad to see him continue to do well.
So next week we get judges choice. Lovely just frackin lovely! Here is where these twits can sabotoge someone by getting them to sing a real dawg of a tune.
Well I'll just have to raise the shields in front of my TV next week and send the cats under my bed in anticipation of another voter brain meltdown.

Allison getting eliminated was a SHOCK!!! When the public votes its then a popularity contest. They said 64 milloin votes. Theres not 64 million people watching the show. Teenage girls are texting in their votes over and over.

That sucked.
Once Ryan gave Kris the green light I thought for sure that Danny was out. I couldn't have been more shocked. Should have been Kris or Danny based on the performance of Tuesday.
Paula--I was a senior in high school when her debut album came out in 1988 and was always a fan of her music. Her judging abilities are another story. I thought she gave a good performance last night and showed that she can still move.
No Doubt--Love the band, hated the song. I wish they had done "Don't Speak".
Chris--great job, love his sound.

Jakey, do you vote? Can you from Canada? I voted all my votes for Allison last night because I thought she'd be in jeopardy. There are some of us that love Danny's voice and next week I will vote for him over and over and not one of them will be a sympathy vote. I could care less about that as I'm sure many do and the sympathy card is overplayed. I'm more ticked off about the OBVIOUS advantage Glambert has with his celebrity contacts and stage experience. I mean, come on...he's been in major productions with his name already out there. There's not a one of them that can match that. I would've loved Allison to have gone against him because I think she could've benefited more by the exposure and was truly unique.
They need to go back to the original format of earlier seasons where EVERYONE was a nobody.
It's like a pro athlete retiring and then playing in an amateur game. Of course they'll probably win.JMO
If it's a Kris/Adam finale...I won't watch. I'd rather watch Jakey's cats grooming themselves.
