RE:Big Brother - Summer of 2009
(Date Posted:08/31/2009 15:23 PM)
Last night's episode nearly broke my heart with Michelle sobbing so uncontrollably. I feel so badly for her. She feels so alone and the others constantly picking on her and bashing her. Once this game is over, the others owe Michelle a HUGE apology!
I pray that Michelle wins the game but the only way for her to win is to have Jordan with her in the final two. Even then, it would be chancey.

Yes, all my hopes are in Michelle right now. I wonder what Jeff must be thinking right now? He thought he had the game won. Do you think he realizes what a huge mistake he made by taking out Russell?

What a relief that Michelle won Veto and took herself off the block! Did you see her dancing around the bedroom by herself? And did you hear what she said in the diary room? "I will just have to win the competitions and take myself to the Final Two." Michelle is overcoming the negative and focusing on the positive side of things. This kind of attitude can really be a motivating force for her.
So, if Jeff goes on Thursday, that leaves Michelle, Jordan and Natalie competing for the next HOH since Kevin is not eligible. Unless a miracle happens for Jordan/Natalie, Michelle should win, although the veto person is the one with the real power next week.
Do you think that Jordan will convince Michelle and Natalie to vote her out instead of Jeff? If so, shame on Jordan!

I had to laugh when Kevin told Natalie to go get the key to let him out and, instead, she went back for more money. Hehehehehe!
Jeff knows he screwed up big time by believing Kevin/Natalie over Russell. But too late to do anything about that now. If Jeff allows Jordan to remove herself from the game to save him, I will have lost all respect for him.
Jordan, do you remember telling us that you want to win the game so you can buy your mom a house? Does letting Jeff stay in the game trump a house for your mom?

I don't think it will matter what Jordan wants. Kev/Nat want Jeff out. The only good scenario out of the final 4 would be if Kevin grows a brain and votes Nat out. No one will have a chance against her in the final two. She's played the best game of anyone but I just don't like her. If Michele, Jordan or Kevin any combo get into the final two, they would have an equal chance of winning.

She's played a good game by controlling every alliance she's been in. She controlled Jesse, Chima and now Kevin. You have to be playing a good game to get this far as you said, without winning anything.

I don't want to see her win. I don't think anyone does. Are there any Natalie fans here? The most deserving to win right now(that is if Jeff leaves tonight) would be Michelle. IMO

Oh S@#* !!!! I spoke to soon. So after she won she says "this is for you Chima" What was that all about? Like Chima even cares about whats going on in the house now that she is gone. Jeff was on The Early Show and he is finally willing to admit that it was a mistake to put up Russell. He also said he just got a little too confident. I think you can see the interview over at CBS.com

Jordan ahead, Michele ties, either one is good and who the heck wins. Nat the brat. This show is ending very anticlimatic for me. I really don't care who wins it now.

Ugh! The last person I wanted to win and she went and did it! How did Natalie manage that? Sheesh!
But really, HOH may be safe for Final Three but it is the Veto Holder that has all the power this coming week. Please let Michelle win Veto! Please, please, please!
I am betting Natalie puts Michelle and Jordan up for eviction. That leaves Kevin with the deciding vote unless Michelle or Jordan win Veto. Then one or the other takes themselves off the nomination and Kevin goes up automatically. Once that happens, then the veto holder gets to decide who goes and I am betting Michelle or Jordan would vote to evict Kevin.
Worse case scenario would be Natalie or Kevin winning Veto then we can kiss Michelle good bye.
As much as I hate to say it, Natalie is playing quite well. Too bad she is so dislikable. Nat may not win much but she does outmanuever everyone.

All of my votes, and there are going to be many, many votes, will go to Michelle. That poor girl deserves to win something for all the abuse she has had to put up with from the other houseguests.
Jeff and Jordan lost my votes when they chose to believe Kevin and Natalie over Russell and Michelle. I am not going to reward them for their idiocy.

RE:Big Brother - Summer of 2009

I know exactly where you're coming from, CindiLou, and I definitely sympathize. But like LindaJean and Jonesy, I don't think that I can bring myself to abandon Jordan. Crazy as she makes me sometimes, she's given me more enjoyable moments than anyone else on this show.
She has always reminded me of someone that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and then the other night, I finally got it!. In the beginning, the first person I thought of was Ellie May Clampett, but that wasn't quite it- even when several people started calling Jeff, "Jeffro".
Then I thought, no, she's a twenty-two year old version of Rose from "The Golden Girls", possibly a granddaughter, whose branch of the family moved from St. Olaf to Charlotte.
And then on Tuesday night's After Dark, I finally got it exactly. Jordan, with all sincerity and a completely straight face said to Natalie, of all people, that even though Natalie was sometimes a little abrasive, she was always truthful and said exactly what she thought about everything.
That's not an exact quote, but that was definitely the gist of it. Anyway, after I picked my jaw up off the floor, and managed to stop cackling hysterically, all I could think of to say was "Say goodnight, Gracie!", George Burns's famous closing line to every one of their shows.
And I thought EUREKA! That's it! Jordan is the reincarnation of Gracie Allen! There's just no one who fits as well!
But I digress. Actually, I'm not going to vote for anyone until I see what happens on tomorrow night's show. They are now so paranoid and suspicious of each other that ANYTHING might happen and ANYONE could go to the Final Three.
In any case, I fear none of us are going to matter. In my heart of hearts, I'm afraid that Jeff is going to win this in a walk. But at least when we get to vote for the Final Winner, he won't be a factor. At that point if either Jordan or Michelle are in the Final Two one of them will get Chima's vote . It would be especially enjoyable if Michelle won the game based on the vote that America cast for Chima! I can hear the volcanic eruptions from both Chima and Ronnie now!!! (Not to mention "Honest Natalie"!)
That would be the high point of the whole game!!!

LOL Smoky. I think Jordan is a combo of all of them. I'm leaning more towards Rose...from St. Olaf North Carolina..She has also given me the most entertainment and I love her sincerety and naivety.
I had totally forgot about us getting to vote for the winner. But I'm confused at what you are saying about Chima's vote. I don't think Chima gets to be on the jury.

Hi Jonesy!
You're right that Chima definitely won't be on the jury. What I meant was that America will get to cast the vote that Chima WOULD have been able to cast, if she hadn't acted like a spoiled two-year old throwing a tantrum!
That's why I think it would be perfect Kharma if Michelle (Chima's most hated enemy) won the game based on THAT vote! Chima would never EVER get over it!
Bwaaah-Haaah-Haaah-Haaah-Haaah! I would just LOVE it!
Smoky
PS: If Michelle does win, she should try to get Natalie and Russell to collaborate on writing her final exit speech to Chima and Ronnie. Michelle just isn't nasty enough to do either one of them justice! LOL!

On second thought let me amend that PS to a collaboration between Russell and Evil Dick. Natalie could never be induced to attack her "buddies". She is, after all, the third "pea" in that particular "pod".

Smoky, I love the combos you have come up with to discribe Jordon's personality, especially Gracie Allen. Another one that comes to mind is Suzanne Sommers on Thress Company.

RE:Big Brother - Summer of 2009
(Date Posted:09/08/2009 15:37 PM)
Jonesy, I've had that little tidbit of info since Friday night from the CBS boards, which is why I've refrained from discussing the final game until after tonight's eviction. It's impossible to say anything about what might happen without giving away the POV winner's identity.
Suffice it to say that if this is played right, an already cutthroat Big Brother is going to go up yet another level! I am really psyched about tonight's show!
Since the first part of the final three challenges will probably be an endurance contest, I'm planning on being glued to the feeds for as long as it takes. The coffee is already brewing!
LindaJean, I agree about Suzanne Sommers. Chrissie fits right into the Jordan profile!
On an unrelated subject, I have a question for anybody who might happen to know. During one of the After Dark episodes this week, it came out that CBS is not hosting the LasVegas wrap party. It's going to be a private event, hosted by none other than Evil Dick, presumably at his expense!
What I'm dying to know is if it's going to be offered as a pay-per-view. My cable is already so expensive that I've never ordered one before, but I'd be willing to pay a great deal to see that brawl! Any info would be greatly appreciated.

I don't think Jordan has a prayer to win an endurance challange against Nat the Brat. She is just to athletic and determined. I'm going to hurl if she wins this thing. HOpefully, she'll take Jordan and Jordan will beat her.
I guess I could be OK with Kevin winning. He did play a good game aligning himself with people at the right time the only problem was Nat was still controlling him too.

They would have to come up with a challenge that would be good for Jordon. So far she hasn't shown to be good at anything. She is a waitress. Maybe if it is something that involves balancing. Waitresses have to balance trays of food. If the final two are Nat and Kevin I don't even want to watch.
