Survivor, The Amazing Race and Big Brother are all my favorite reality shows. Unfortunately, I lost interest in TAR this season. I watched the first episode and half way through the second I thought, "I am just not interested" and I turned it off. *Gasp*

Anyone watching TAR this season?

Oh yeah Cindi, I am.  All the competitors just seem to be lacking in motivation.  Like they're
moving in slow motion.  It's kind of like a bad season of survivor.  Any AR is better than no
AR.  I would love to see the mother/son team win.

I was sad to see the mom/son go too.  I wish they had tried harder to get their money and things back.  They just got off track mentally after that and couldn't gain it back.  I'm rooting for star and her brother too, I can't remember anyone's names tonight LOL  oh well.

It's official.  The Amazing Race 14 starts Sunday, February 15th at 8 pm!  Only a one hour premier, but at least it's on.

I love it when Survivor and TAR run together and I get two nights of reality fix.  Now if only they'd start a Big Brother to go with them....!  Heaven knows no bounds!!!

We loved the show tonight.  The older couple surprised us.  We thought for sure they would come in last.  We got a big laugh out of them carrying that cheese down the hill.  I really don't know how any of them did the bungie jump.

A great start for the season.  First of all I would've lost the race right off if I had to do the bungee jump.  There would've been NO WAY.

I was so happy when the mom/son team came in first.  He busted his butt on the cheese challange.  I don't think mom was able to carry any..did she?  This was a brutal task.  I was half expecting to see a major injury when one of the run away cheese rolls hit someone.  Did they booby trap those carriers to fall apart so easy?

The hicks from the sticks were great comedy relief.  That won't be around long.  They were about in 6th place and because of them bumbling around trying to find the yodelers they ended up way further down and at first I thought they would end up in last place.  They are identical twins to the other hicks from the sticks couple.

Don't know about a blog, but Phil is doing a video diary ... very short clips, though.

Jeez I was mad last night.   Why did Margie & Luke find it necessary to U-Turn Chris & Amanda?    I thought for sure it would turn out to be a non-elimination round, so it wouldn't matter, but no, they got eliminated.    I would be spitting blood if i were Amanda.   To be eliminated through your own stupidity is one thing, but to get U-Turned is unjust.

Lemon, the reason they yielded them is because they wanted to help out the two red haired girls (don't know their names yet).  The two girls are the only team that takes the time to communicate with Luke and they are constantly asking how to say things in sign.  So I can totally see why they did it.  Not that I like it because I liked Amanda and Chris.

Okay, I didn't realize that, but I still don't think it's fair.  I wonder if Margie & Luke feel guilty?

Not at all.  If they have the chance, they'll do it again to the other teams.  Oh ... and loved seeing Luke run through the streets in his skivvys.  He has a great attitude and I'm glad they came in 1st again last night.

I am watching again this season. Chris and Amanda were good and a threat to Margie and Luke. And as Jonesy said, it was part of Margie and Luke's strategy to keep the girls who are nice to them.

I feel so bad for Luke looking at next weeks promo's.  Margie collapses and Luke becomes so distraught.  She's his rock and the only one he can communicate with.

I was bothered by the people having to get their picture taken with the tiger. Their was a one armed man in charge of this picture taking, and he kept poking the tiger in the face with a stick.  I couldn't see what the tiger was even doing to deserve a poke in the face.  My husband said the tiger looked like it was drugged. Was anyone else bothered by this?

I was! Not only the tiger scenes but the scenes with the elephants were in bad taste and could have been very unsafe. I dislike the usage of wild animals for enjoyment.

I also wholeheartedly agree! I was not pleased to see the tiger and elephant exploitation. I felt like ripping the trainer's remaining arm off and beating him with it.

The elephant act was demeaning for both human and animal not to mention dangerous. The producers who sought out this part of the race should be thrown to the tigers themselves. Bastards!

Now that's what I was thinking Jakey, more demeaning than dangerous.  The last one with the elephant hunching over the contestant was bothering me to say the least.

Lukes temper is rearing it's ugly head.  He shoved Lakisha at the clue box and then got upset when she shoved back and called her a bitch.  Then he does it again with Jennifer.  I really like Margie (iron woman) so if they were to win, I'd be happy for Margie because she basically is who got them there.

Can't stand the redheads and how rude they are to the people.  I kept hoping that the drivers would get them totally lost so that they would be eliminated.

Don't like Tammy and Victor so I guess that leaves me rooting for the sisters and the brothers.  Doubtful though that Mike and Michael will overcome the time delay and speed bump.

I think the pressure is getting to the remaining teams.   Maybe they got some of it out of their system when they were yelling at each other at the pit stop.

Next week looks interesting, though.

This season will be kind of anticlimatic for me as there really hasn't been a clear cut favorite for me.  If I did have one, they long been eliminated.  If I have to root for someone, it would be the sisters as I think the money would really change their lives.

I feel the same way Jonsey. I have not really been routing for any particular team but I think I would favour the sisters when the crunch comes.

Margie is very protective of Luke.  He does no wrong. I'm not sure who started the shoving, but I think it was Luke.
