I was kind of disappointed when I read your post, Beccka. But you're right, the last couple of recaps have been good. Am I ready to see Russell make "the whole tribe suffer" more? Not really, but it's how he's playing his game, I guess.

I mentioned Brett in one of my "Thoughts" posts. I think the poor guy doesn't have much facial hair. I noticed this week that he had a few stray ones on his chin.

Beccka, I do the bullets in Word and then paste them here. I can't figure out Aimoo's bullets either!
LindaJean, Dalton said something in his article about the rocks. Basically he said that the randomness of having to pick a rock makes the game change.

Thanks, Beccka. I figured it was Russell who misspelled "Luara."

LOVE your new avatar, Beccka!

· How come the reward winners didn’t get to call home? I was expecting it.
· Again, I want to know who picks the teams!
· I was surprised that John didn’t hang out of the swing like Natalie did.
· I was impressed with Monica’s lying ability. That must be the only thing she can do well.
· The race to find the HII was like a Three Stooges movie.
· How come at the IC they only got one ball? Were they all so weak that was as many as they could throw?
· I liked seeing Mick finally win (although it really had nothing to do with wit or strength- just plain luck). I also liked that some of Foa Foa finally got to go on a reward.
· Where are the rules for tie-breakers??
· Dave must think that he’s the only one playing the game. He’s not thinking that other people might be thinking. For a smart guy, that’s pretty dumb.

Much as I love the Ponderosa clips that was just a little too much! Come on, CBS, did we really need to see 5 parts on Laura?!

Thanks, Cindi!

I've been watching it this season and last night's episode bugged me.
I felt very sad that Chef Mullins' rheumatoid arthritis was hurting him. I really think that's the reason why he was eliminated. You've got to be able to move quickly on Iron Chef.
Chef Mehta will probably win because he's so different than the others, but his game ethics are in the dirt. He has no sense of sportsmanship and will lie and cheat to get ahead. I just don't like that!
I was very surprised that Chef Garces made it this far. I was really hoping that Chef Freitag would have been in the final 2.

I think Shambo is finally going to get it when Galu realizes she's gone Foa Foa.

With all the scrambling,
who will get their torch
snuffed this week?

Love your 2nd one, Jonesy!
"Thanks for cleaning my ears, Shambo."

I just watched last night's Numb3rs episode and Survivor was used as one of Charlie's examples. The scenes were all from this season. Kinda cool, using one CBS show in another one.

I got it, Jonesy. But I had to read it twice

Laura Corrine
It must be the smile. Laura's not quite as mean as Corrine.

RNO: What was the most eye-opening thing you saw on TV that you didn’t know about while you were there?
Kelly: Hmmm. I think definitely the very beginning episodes when Russell was burning socks and pouring out water. Oh my gosh, that’s just plain evil – things are hard enough already! It just made me question what he did when he came to our camp. For example, the day I got sent home, right before Tribal Council, I had these boots that were my favorite shoes. That day I went to put them on and the fire ants had nested in my boots – I got attacked by like 40 ants at once and Russell actually helped me get them off quickly. Now I wonder if he put food in there or something to attract them.
I completely forgot that Russell could still be sabotaging everyone!

· I finally see why Jeff loves Russell. I’m becoming a Russell fan myself. The guy has is eye on the finish line and isn’t going to go out without a fight.
· For the first time I saw Jaison without a shirt on. He’s got a great bod!
· Both challenges this week were new.
· I would have liked to have seen how the picking went for the reward challenge. Was it a schoolyard pick? We know who was at the bottom, but who was at the top? Was it as simple as picking colored rocks out of a bag?
· How did Russell know that another II was back in play? He really has amazed me with his research about the game. Finally a fan that plays the game!
· At the IC Laura pulled her bags back before Russell. Did he do that on purpose?
· Then Laura stomped on Mick and Shambo in the puzzle! I figured she would beat Shambo, but at the end of the competition you could see Mick’s board and he only had about 10 completed.
· I loved Russell walking by the four Galu while they were scheming. You could almost hear him whistling that non-chalant “do, do, do, do, do” song.
· I think Erik might possibly be pretty irritated with his old Galu tribe. Dave’s comment about him probably hurt. Then he was cheering when Russell’s name kept coming up in the votes. I don’t think he “bleeds purple” anymore.
· What was Shambo’s “10-9-8” on her vote for Russell about? I’m glad she voted for Russell to keep their alliance quiet.

Kelly: "I've got a little ichy in my heiney."

NO NO NO! It can't be Jaison. Let's hope it's finally Monica!
