It could be a fake one like the season with Shii Ann where they all thought it was a merge but had to do the challenge as their old tribe. Shii Ann was voted out because she decided to bond with the other tribe before she knew they were still separate.

OK just a thought but we still need a double elimination so merge at 12 and make them vote out two people before they have a time to bond. Then on with the regular process of the show. Challange for the 10 left for individual immunity. Only thing I can think of for a merge at 12 people

I cannot wait until they merge. I admit I am having a difficult time staying interested in what is going on and who is who. I still do not know everyone. Usually the "real game" begins at merge and then it finally becomes intensely interesting.
